International world premiere of the “Multi-FMU 32“
After the machine debuted at the “Wafios Innovation Days” in May 2025, the “Multi-FMU 32” will also be exhibited for the first time at the wire show in Düsseldorf, Germany. With this machine, Wafios combines maximum flexibility with industrial high performance in a completely new machine concept.

The production of extension springs with extended loops runs on the “Multi-FMU” almost on a second-by-second basis. In the production of extension springs with extended loops from wire of 2.5mm diameter and 12 coils, the “Multi-FMU 32” reaches an output of 55 pieces per minute. The output depends on the number of coils the extension spring strand has. © Wafios
At the “wire 2026”, the “Multi-FMU” will be exhibited for the production of spring bodies made of wire diameters between 1.2mm and 3.2mm diameter using the mandrel coiling technique. © Wafios
