07/08/2025 – Small-size pellets and low-carbon-footprint masterbatch
Masterbatch and conductive compound solutions at “K” 2025
The 2025 edition of “K”, the world’s leading trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry, will take place from October 8 to 15 this year in Düsseldorf, Germany. Delta Tecnic will showcasing its latest innovations in small-size pellets and low-carbon-footprint masterbatch, among other new developments.
At stand K32 in Hall 8a, the company will showcase its latest developments, presenting a technological offering focused on enhancing the functionality of plastic applications and accelerating the transition towards more sustainable and circular materials.
The company will be showcasing:
– Super Small Pellet (SSP): a disruptive breakthrough that redefines the standards of colour homogenisation and efficiency in plastic manufacturing processes. This new pellet, significantly smaller in size compared to traditional formats, enhances colour uniformity and minimises visual irregularities in the final product. By incorporating more particles per unit area, SSP ensures more even coverage, which is especially advantageous in applications such as PVC films and profiles. Its ultra-small particle size makes it ideal for use with PVC powder formulations, ensuring excellent miscibility and colour uniformity.
– Conductive PVC: a solution designed to meet the demands of environments where static electricity poses a critical risk. The company will showcase its dissipative and semi-conductive materials formulated with carbon black, NTC, or graphene, developed to prevent interferences or accidents in sensitive spaces such as operating rooms or manufacturing plants. It will also present masterbatch with metallic fibres that enable the production of dissipative products in colours other than black.
– Custom colours for calendering: a range of masterbatch specifically developed to ensure tailor-made colours with impeccable consistency, enabling the achievement of exact shades with excellent outdoor performance. Delta Tecnic guarantees extremely high batch-to-batch repeatability for the same colour, eliminating the need for adjustments during production. Additionally, it offers mono-pigment masterbatch in cryopellet format, the result of an advanced cryogenic grinding process. This technology facilitates the development of custom colours by allowing precise combinations of base pigments, achieving excellent dispersion while reducing cleaning and colour adjustment costs.
– Masterbatch for recycled PVC: a solution that transforms recycled products by providing them with an attractive and uniform finish, facilitating their reintroduction into the market and contributing to carbon footprint reduction. With a formulation adapted to the particular characteristics of recycled PVC, Delta Tecnic’s masterbatch corrects the colour irregularities typical of recovered materials. Colours can be customised in both standard shades (white, black) and specific formulations.
Delta Tecnic has designed its stand as a sensory experience to highlight the real impact of its solutions.
Quality Lab: precision, colour, and performance in action
An interactive area designed to visually and comparatively demonstrate how variables such as dispersion, density, and compatibility with different polymers influence the final performance of masterbatch. This technical experience aims to showcase the real impact of a well-designed formulation on key aspects such as colour, homogeneity, and production efficiency.
Art Lab: where colour inspires
Art will also be present at the stand, with a live experience where visitors can witness color come to life through creativity. During the first days of the fair, an artist will interpret Delta Tecnic’s solutions in real time, transforming masterbatch into unique visual pieces. This proposal connects technical innovation with the emotion of colour, showing how science can also inspire.
