A strong presence with clear focus

When “wire 2026“ opens its doors in Düsseldorf, Ideal will once again be among the exhibitors setting technological impulses. The medium-sized, family-owned German company looks back on more than 100 years of experience in resistance welding technology – and uses this heritage as a foundation for continuous innovation.

At hall 17, booth D 47, Ideal welcomes visitors from all over the world together with its international sales and service team. Guided by the company slogan “We connect worlds”, the focus lies on personal exchange, future-oriented solutions and reliable partnerships. Ideal expects “wire 2026“ to become a direction-setting event, driven by intensive discussions with both long-standing customers and new contacts.

One location, one shared vision

In 2025, Ideal reached an important milestone by consolidating its previously separate sites in Lippstadt, Germany, into a single, modern location. The company invested in a new office building as well as an additional hall for mechanical manufacturing, bringing all key functions together under one roof.

This strategic step enables closer collaboration across departments, shorter communication paths and more flexible, efficient processes. By working hand in hand at one site, Ideal has created the structural basis for optimised workflows, faster project implementation and continuous technological development. In this way, the guiding principle “We connect worlds” is reflected not only in welding technology, but also in the company’s internal organisation.

New machine, new market perspective

A particular highlight at “wire 2026” is the first-time presentation of a newly developed mesh welding machine. Designed for the production of standardised grid products such as floor gratings or shelving grid bases, this machine marks Ideal’s strategic entry into a new and fast-growing market segment.

The highly standardised machine concept is aimed at customers seeking efficient, reproducible and scalable production solutions. With this innovation, Ideal intends to open up new applications and create the basis for sustainable growth in the years to come.

Performance meets simplicity

The new mesh welding machine focuses on the production of mesh mats using modern medium-frequency welding technology. This enables stable processes, high energy efficiency and consistent welding quality – even in demanding production environments. At the same time, great emphasis was placed on ease of operation and straightforward daily handling.

“We expect a new level of attention that will give us a strong boost,” states Ideal. The company is confident that the combination of advanced technology and user-friendly design will resonate strongly with visitors at wire 2026.

Reliable wire end joining

In addition to the new mesh welding system, Ideal also presents a selection of proven butt welding machines. These machines are used for reliable wire end joining applications, such as coil-to-coil connections, and are valued for their robustness, precision and flexibility.

Together, the exhibited solutions underline Ideal’s comprehensive expertise in resistance welding technology – from innovative new developments to well-established machine concepts.
