Krzysztof Hornig new CEO
Since November 2025, Krzysztof Hornig took over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LOI Thermprocess GmbH, based in Duisburg, succeeding Mr. Christian Schrade, who has led the company for the past five years.

Matthias Gogollok continues as CFO. Hornig, a doctorate holder from RWTH Aachen in thermal process engineering, brings over 20 years of experience in industrial furnace technology and international metals industry leadership. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Head of the Industrial Furnaces Division at Andritz Metals Germany. He described the move as an exciting challenge, highlighting Tenova’s blend of traditional furnace engineering and cutting?edge innovation as key to delivering holistic technological solutions for the green transition.
