Unwinding sensitive products at highest speeds

The conventional solution of a spool pick-up with the help of a spool lifting table is supplemented in the new generation of winders with a particularly gentle product removal. This not only considers the tangential product removal parallel to the spool flange, but at the same time the orientation radially to the spool according to the current spool filling level. The detection of the product position in both directions ensures an optimal position of the delaying pulley. The optimal product guidance ensures that even the most sensitive wires can be payed off reliably at high speeds up to 2,000 m/minute.
The latest generation of high-speed pintle pay-offs are especially developed for the use in solid extrusion lines. Thanks to the variable product guidance into three directions, retrofitting into existing production lines is possible at any time.
