03/12/2024 – EP Connectors values the reliability of Leibinger printers

Printing cables for the automotive industry

EP Connectors GmbH relies on the intelligent “IQ Jet” printers from Leibinger for the production of cables for the automotive industry at its new plant. The requirements are exacting: Every year, 5,000km of cable need to be printed reliably and with exceptional abrasion resistance.

“As the reliability is so important to us – we opted for Leibinger printers. The printer’s direct connection to the specific formulation allows the required print text to be loaded immediately, which significantly reduces set-up times. The printer‘s automatic nozzle sealing system also ensures that the printer never clogs – even after printing pauses.“ Klaus Ciminato, Head of cable production, EP Connectors – an Erich Jaeger company. © Leibinger
