A hollow shaft drive together with a light weighted carbon head improves the running qualities in that way that the production speed can be significantly increased and frictional wear is reduced. Additionally, the design of our components has been revised for easier handling and better serviceability.

Lukas Anlagenbau GmbH, a family owned manufacturer from Bavaria/Germany, founded in 1959, is producing customer specific equipment for the wire and cable industry.

The focus of the products is on complete taping lines with taping materials like e.g. PTFE, Kapton, Mica, paper or metal. Also for producing special cables for medical, aircraft or power applications, our taping lines can be found at the company premises of many well known suppliers worldwide. Furthermore, our product range covers single components like pay-offs, capstans, caterpillars, sintering ovens and take-ups, up to complete rewinding lines and fine wire drawing lines for non-ferrous materials.

Beginning from October 2019 Lukas took over business from Erwin Neumann Drahtveredelungstechnik GmbH, Nauort, Germany, and therefore the company extended their product range with electrolytic single wire-plating lines for tin, silver, nickel and copper.
