The Wafios Group is one of the leading companies in the wire and tube processing industry and as such will present their new machines, technological innovations and latest wire and tube processing trends to international visitors of the “wire” and “Tube” show 2020 in hall 10 F22/40.

Consequently, the company will present itself in Düsseldorf with innovations from the entire spectrum of wire and tube processing machines. Here an excerpt from the planned highlights and premieres from the various machines of the wire-processing sector.

“BM 36” Series – Highspeed wire bending machines

The new single-head wire bending machine series from Wafios makes its international trade fair debut in Düsseldorf and sets new standards in terms of speed and quality. The machine structure has been completely redesigned. Its innovative design and improved ergonomics are trendsetting for new Wafios developments.

“SNA 16” ring coiling machine

The SNA 16 represents the new dimension in the manufacture of right-hand coiled wave springs and single- or multi-turn rings made from profiled material with a rectangular cross section. The machine is characterized by its high efficiency thanks to a very high production output and availability as well as an exceptional variety of parts as it enables the production of rings and wave springs of the most diverse geometries with minimum diameters.

Extension spring machine “ZO 26”

The ZO machine – long expected by many customers – celebrates its world premiere in Düsseldorf and thus heralds the new edition of the worldwide successful ZO technology. The new ZO 26 consists of a right-hand coiling compression spring machine and an optimized spring transport towards the processing stations. It is equipped with the unique and enhanced WAFIOS looping plate technology. The ZO 26 stands for a large range of bent products and an unmatched accuracy of loop dimensions. Its unique design ensures highest efficiency in the production of tension springs.

Compression spring machine “F 30”

New, powerful CNC compression spring machine for the production of right-hand coiled and optionally also left-hand coiled compression springs. It is the successor of the well-established Eco Coiler F3, featuring a new control unit and a larger diameter range. It has been designed as a cost-optimized machine concept with numerous options for a modern spring production.

Spring coiling machine “FUL 26+ and 36+ 4speed”

This machine’s design concept was part of last year’s technology preview. As of late, “4speed” stands for Wafios developments that have been designed for highest production outputs. The new FUL 26+ and 36+ 4speed are – in their ultimate expansion stage – the fastest spring coiling machines in the world. They produce compression springs at a wire infeed speed of up to 600 m/min and will be presented in Düsseldorf for the first time as standard machines manufactured in series.

“FTU 2.5” inductor coil machine with a new insulation stripping device “FSA 2.5”

New and so far unreached output capacity of the insulation stripping device FSA 2.5 matching the performance of the inductor coil machine. Higher flexibility and performance due to adjustable cutting head speed. More precise operation thanks to defined and programmable advance of the insulation stripping knife. The insulation stripping device's control unit has been integrated into the programming system Wafios “WPS 3.2 Easy Cam” of the inductor coil machine FTU 2.5.

Straightening machine “R 36”

Straightening machine of the R series for smooth steel, equipped with “iQmstraight” for measuring the straightness of rods. With newly developed, adjustable rotor for automatic readjustment when processing rods that are not within the straightness tolerance.

“G450” spring end grinding machine

Smart machine with connection to trendsetting technology database and new loading unit.

Wafios information terminals will be available to provide visitors with information on different machine areas and highlight topics, like the Wafios “Smart Factory 4.0”, Wafios e-mobility solutions or the latest iQ functions for optimizing processes. The Wafios Customer Service and Tool Center will present state-of-the-art retrofit and service solutions as well as new, modular tool designs for spring, wire bending and tube bending machines.
