For many years, Geo-Reinigugstechnik has been offering spiral brushes in a wide range of diameters and fill materials, which are very often used statically, e.g. in front of wire bending machines. Spiral brushes set in rotation are an even more effective solution for cleaning various wire and cable surfaces. Rotation enhances the wiping action of this proven tool and effectively reduces dirt build-up on the bristles.

Geo offers two compact brushing systems for the mechanical treatment of round materials, in which the material passes in-line through a spiral brush fixed in a rotary unit. Depending on the application and material, brushes with plastic, steel or stainless steel bristles are used.

Sturdy and compact, Geo's brushing system “DRB WCS” is a cost-effective system for universal use with spiral brushes with a diameter of 57 mm. The rotation unit is mounted in a sturdy, clad steel frame with a working chamber. If required, an air nozzle can be installed behind the rotation unit to blow off loose residual particles finally. Removed contaminants are collected or exhausted via a suction socket.

The compact “DRB SCS” brushing system is similar in design to its big brother “DRB WCS”. The rotary unit is designed for approx. 150mm long brush sections with a diameter of 40mm. This makes the system ideally suited for the treatment of thin wires. Concentrated on a small working tray with docked control cabinet, the unit requires only approx. 460mm of space in length.
