Straighten and cut machines with optional chamfer
The new straighten and cut models from Videx are equipped with a positive stop and length control, stopping the machine when the wire has not reached the positive stop.

These high-speed machines are now versatile and therefore suitable for the production of short parts as well as long parts. Short parts can be cut from 40mm up to 1m or 2m at speeds up to 600 cuts per minute. Videx offers an integrated turning and chamfering station to all their VC lines, accepting the cut-to-length bars, and processing their ends in one operation. The chamfers are cut dry, and the chips are automatically removed from the cutting area into a waste bin, leaving the work area always clean and dry. A positive grip of the parts enables the turning of different chamfers on both sides and assures a smooth cut face with no vibrations as well as a longer life of the chamfered carbide tips.
