Schmidt is enlarging the line of online tension sensors

The Schmidt company supplements the existing series of stationary tension sensors with a new, compact series. This differs from the existing models in geometry and design.

The new, flat MZ series can be used wherever space problems arise due to wires or cables running in parallel, such as when entering a stranding machine. The sensors will be equipped with different sized guide rollers. The roll sizes depend on the dimensions of the measured material and the desired measuring range. Measuring ranges from 0cN to 2,000cN to max. 0daN to 100daN are available. All sensors are equipped as standard with a preamplifier, which has already proven itself with other Schmidt sensors. Analog, digital and current are optionally available as output signals. Besides their tension meters we will display other control instruments as: force gauges and test stands; universal strength testing machines; tachometers and stroboscopes; thickness gauges.
