The cables combined with Leviton Atlas-X1 and eXtreme connectivity, provide a complete end-to-end system from a single provider. IT network managers and installers are both facing the need for faster deployment of new systems, in tighter spaces, with less environmental impact, without sacrificing quality and reliability.

The new 24 AWG Cat 6 U/UTP cables address these needs. The cables have a small diameter which allows for improved air flow in cable trays and conduits. They have been designed without a central cross filler, delivering environmental benefits through reduced plastic in the design and giving the cables greater flexibility and allowing installers to achieve faster terminations. A better bend radius also reduces the stress the cable experiences as it engages with horizontal and vertical cable management.

The higher EuroClass ratings provide customers with the best level of fire protection available on the market. Using higher EuroClass cabling provides both better protection of buildings and personnel in case of emergencies. It also enables greater uniformity for managers responsible for facilities in multiple countries with differing EuroClass requirements.

The new cables meet all Category 6 requirements and are tested for use with Power over Ethernet applications (PoE) up to 100 watts. All Leviton cables are third-party certified as meeting or exceeding component and channel performance standards. Leviton systems are all backed by 25-year system warranty to protect investment.
