Hexpol, the global polymer group, will present its extensive portfolio of specialised materials for wire and cable applications at “wire 2026” in Düsseldorf.

With electrification trends and an increasingly connected global population, the demand for energy and cable products is expanding rapidly. Alongside this growth comes stricter regulations to protect people and the environment. Hexpol’s materials portfolio, spanning thermosets, thermoplastics, TPE, colorants and functional additives, are customized to meet the rigorous demands of modern infrastructure and electrification.
Hexpol will showcase latest developments mainly from their specific cable compounding sites, namely Hexpol Izmir (former Kabkom, Turkey) and Hexpol Vilafranca, (former Vicom 2002, Spain). Proven solutions for HFFR Thermoplastics compounds based on PE, POE, EVA, EVM and Thermosets rubber based on CPE, CR, EPDM, NBR, EVA, POE, XLPE, XL-HFFR. Materials are RoHS and REACH compliant with grades designed to meet international cable standards and CPR regulations. Typical properties include halogen-free flame retardancy with low smoke and toxicity. Electrical properties such as conductivity, field grading or insulation are possible, and materials offering harsh environment resistance.
