The attractiveness of the U.S. market for the industry is clear: a vast market, high levels of industrial demand, and a strong desire among many American companies to rely on European – particularly German – quality. Despite current import tariffs of 10%, demand for machines and solutions "Made in Germany" remains impressively strong.

High demand for German technology – even without U.S. competitors
Many VDKM members who participated in the CWWC (Cable&Wire West Coast) back in 2023 reported that they have few direct American competitors in their respective niches. Their technological leadership and high specialisation open excellent sales opportunities for German companies – not only in mechanical engineering but also in technical textiles and cable processing solutions.

 The exhibitors' goal is clear: to sell. And the conditions in Anaheim are ideal. MTseries West attracts not only a professional audience from California but also decision-makers and buyers from across North America. “Visitors come with concrete interests – they want to see machines, find solutions, and make investments,” said one exhibitor at the VDKM booth.

VDKM: a strong partner for market entry
This time, the VDKM will be present for the first time at the “Manufacturing Technology Series West” in Anaheim. Since the last CWWC, the association's involvement has continued to grow.

VDKM uses the trade fair to showcase all its members – even those who are not physically exhibiting. A dedicated member brochure presents all companies with profiles and contact information, which is distributed directly to interested visitors.

 Beyond visibility, the VDKM offers tangible advantages: favourable conditions for trade fair participation and on-site organisational support. The joint booth will also highlight the collaboration with Messe Düsseldorf – a strong duo supporting the international success of German wire and cable machinery manufacturers.
