Companies are looking to offset weak domestic markets with international business. The industry took advantage of “wire Eurasia” in Istanbul, “Metalflow Alliance” in Riyadh and “Interwire” in Atlanta to showcase its products.

In the second half of the year, the “wire Middle East Africa” exhibition in Cairo and “wire Southeast Asia” in Bangkok will offer further opportunities to do so.

In addition, German wire and cable machine manufacturers will once again be presenting themselves in America this year. With its own pavilion under the motto “Cable & Wire West Coast“, the German Association of Wire and Cable Machine Manufacturers (VDKM) will be exhibiting at the “Manufacturing Technology Series West” in Anaheim. Almost 20 companies will be presenting themselves at the joint stand.

In this issue of WIRE, companies once again present their new products or invite readers to visit them at upcoming trade fairs. They hope that positive discussions at the trade fairs will not be thwarted by customs conflicts or geopolitical crises.
