Less welcomes new members
The Low Emission Steel Standard (Less) has significantly broadened its European representation: following Arcelor Mittal Germany, Arcelor Mittal’s entities in Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Spain have now joined the Less aisbl. In addition, the German Steel Association (Wirtschaftsvereinigung Stahl, WV Stahl) has joined Less as an associated member.

Dr. Frederik Van De Velde, CEO of Arcelor Mittal Belgium, has now joined the Less board of directors, replacing Reiner Blaschek, CEO Arcelor Mittal Europe – Flat Products. © Arcelor Mittal
