Shaping the future of wire making

The Wire Association International, Inc. (WAI) will host its “Interwire Conference and Trade Exposition” May 13-15, 2025, at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

The event draws professionals from the global wire and cable manufacturing sector to view equipment, attend educational sessions, and network with experts. Interwire serves the ferrous, nonferrous, electrical, fastener, and fiber optic segments of the industry. In 2023 attendees came from 285 manufacturing operations.

Exhibiting companies at Interwire use the venue to make product introductions and meet customers and prospects. Exhibitors include suppliers and producers of wire; cable; and fastener, formed and fabricated wire products. More than 110 product types are showcased at Interwire.

Exhibits are open May 13-14 – 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; and May 15 – 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

WAI’s “4th Global Continuous Casting Forum” for copper and aluminum will run beside Interwire from May 12-15, 2025, with crossover access to the exhibit hall, and a discrete conference program.

The Interwire and GCCF programs comprise eighty-eight speakers.

– Keynote speaker Chris Tuff, best-selling author of the Millennial Whisperer, presenting: Creating a culture of connection.

– Featured speaker Willem Sundblad, CEO & Co-Founder, Oden Technologies, presenting: The future of manufacturing.

350 exhibiting companies covering 105,000 square feet of space.

Guests are invited to the WAI Welcome Reception at the nearby Mercedes-Benz Stadium for refreshments on May 13; as well as to the “Taste of the South Happy Hour” in the exhibit hall on May 14 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Informal networking is part of the daily coffee breaks and conference question-and-answer sessions.

Those new to the industry are urged to enroll in WAI’s one-day Fundamentals of Wire Manufacturing Course on May 12, which offers both ferrous and nonferrous tracks. It is the association’s most popular training program and refresher course for new hires, sales teams, and operations personnel.
