Completely redesigned “SMR” forming center
Global crises and unstable supply chains have made even the procurement of C-parts such as screws increasingly challenging. The “SMR” forming center from Wafios Umformtechnik is ideally suited for these applications. The machine not only forms the wire, but also includes an integrated thread rolling unit and, if required, a slotting operation for the screw head.
As a result, the “SMR” functions as a complete, compact production line with a very small footprint. Thanks to its modular design, the individual workstations can be flexibly configured to meet specific production requirements.
