Upshift to sustainability and durability
The significant presence of Maillefer, Davis-Standard, and exclusive partners at this key North American venue is planned as a sizeable response to the industry. The expectations are high.
The Maillefer team is gladly returning to “Interwire” to greet wire and cable professionals in Atlanta. There is much to catch up on, from innovative extrusion solutions and smart manufacturing to the major shifts in operating conditions that favor sustainability and durability.
Industry players have considerable expectations. Maillefer has the ability to meet several. Notably, to serve as a single source and reliable partner in the long term. Their portfolio includes the full range of wire and cable solutions, starting from components, complete lines, and factory systems, to know-how packages, full life-cycle support, and aftermarket services.
As for the exhibits, visitors will see their MXC 120mm extruder for low-voltage applications, and the compact fiber pay-off PM 265, to mention a few visible on the stand. Meanwhile, Smart Monitoring combines a working mix of hardware, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence into a progressive manufacturing environment. Maillefer will be providing a VR experience in a modern cable factory that features Smart technology. Its AI augmented package is designed to identify and predict process anomalies before they get out of hand.
Since the last edition of Interwire, much has gone on in their business. The manufacturing environment has changed. New tools are available. The expectations for modern infrastructure, environmentally friendly solutions, and manufacturing efficiency are driving them towards uncharted territories that hold much promise.
