Because of the modular design, the new wire feeder can be equipped with four, six or even eight rollers, depending on the application. All rollers are driven without slack. Thanks to the new quick-change system, the roller units can be easily removed and adjusted by the customer. The wire feeder can handle wires up to a diameter of 5mm (0.1968in) as well as narrow strip materials up to a width of 20mm (0.7874in). Due to the highly dynamic torque motor and a specialised control unit, a high feeding frequency can be achieved, while maintaining very high precision. The control unit offers an enormous number of setting parameters. As a result, the systems can cope with practically every requirement, no matter how complex.
