New vertical spring end grinding machines
Kamatech will showcase their new solution for grinding of springs during “wire”. The new family of “Cerbero” machines can grind springs up to 5mm diameter of wire in only one pass with 3 couples of CBN wheels.

The family is composed from three different size of wheels: 300mm, 450mm or 660mm. Each model has three different heads of work with two setting stations in the middle. With this operation it is possible to grind-press and grind another time for finish. Vertical spring end grinders have vertically installed grinding splindles. Between the wheels it turns a steel disc in which charges the springs with manual loading or an automatic loading unit. There are different new features to allow a faster and more precise production:
– Wheels speed up to 100m/s
– Electronics setting station up to 2,500kg
– Air cooled system
– Zero play gearbox on plate movement
– Safety device
