New expansion in Saudi Arabia
The shareholders of Madem Gulf Ind - Bahrain have agreed to open a new manufacturing, assembly and distribution plant in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This will become the second manufacturing plant in Middle East, following the initial plant located in Askar, Bahrain.

Madem-Moorecraft Reels USA, Inc. is part of Madem Group, a global leader in the manufacture and distribution of nailed wooden reels.
Operations are scheduled to begin in 2023 with assembly and distribution beginning in Q3-Q4, while manufacturing is set for Q1-Q2 2024. The initial investment encompasses cutting-edge full automated wooden drums CNC lines and will create over 100 new jobs. Annual capacity should reach over 1,000 truckloads of KD reel kits.
