Leading the way in sustainable lubrication
Condat will showcase its latest solutions dedicated to electrical wire drawing, once again demonstrating its ability to cover the full range of lubrication needs – from soluble lubricants to neat oils and greases – required for this highly demanding process.
Among the highlights, “Vicafil TCU 255”, a new high-performance micro-emulsion for copper wire drawing, has been specifically designed for multi-wire drawing machines requiring excellent cleanliness, lubrication stability, and long bath life. It offers superior detergency, low foaming, strong resistance to bacteria, broad compatibility with metals and machine components, and extended service intervals.
“Protelec 150”, a cable grease compliant with European and international standards, provides reliable protection over a wide operating temperature range from –40 °C to +160 °C.
Completing the portfolio, “Vicafil TFA 1480” is a high-viscosity neat oil for copper electrical cable drawing, featuring excellent oxidation resistance and stable performance across all temperatures, ensuring consistent wire quality throughout the process.
At “wire” Condat will also unveil its low-carbon Mass Balance approach, designed to help customers reduce their carbon footprint without changing their processes or performance standards. By combining actions across renewable or circular raw materials sourcing, production and formulation, this initiative makes it possible to decarbonise while keeping the same lubricant performance, quality and usage conditions.
Actively engaged in this transition, Condat invites visitors to exchange with its experts and explore how Mass Balance solutions can support a more sustainable wire drawing industry.
At “wire” Condat reaffirms its position as a precursor and leader in responsible and sustainable performance for the wire drawing industry. With over 170 years of expertise, the French-origin, international lubricant group continues to innovate to reduce environmental impact while improving productivity and working conditions.
