Dry cables at maximum speed
Siebe Engineering launches a new cable drying system for production speeds over 1,500m/min at “wire”.
The special developed technology is designed as a stand-alone device that is placed after standard drying systems and is only switched on at higher production speeds. The Siebe dryer effectively removes the remaining water film from the cable surface. As a result, the detection of “wrong” faults due to distorted measurements of downstream monitoring devices is virtually eliminated.The Siebe high-speed dryer is protected by the German Patent and Trademark Office.
