16/03/2026 – Out now: “wire 2026” main trade fair issue
WIRE 2/2026 – on the way to you!
WIRE 2/2026 is published – in this main-trade fair issue, WIRE reports on the exhibits that trade visitors can expect in Düsseldorf from 13 to 17 April. At “wire 2026”, the industry will be presenting new machines, technologies and trends expected for the coming years. WIRE shows the highlights in advance.
Trade fairs not only provide insight into new machines, technologies, materials and services, but also offer the opportunity to assess one’s own market position and identify potential new markets – in other words, orientation. This is particularly important now that many things that were once considered certain no longer are.
“wire/Tube 2026”
The world’s leading trade fairs for the international wire, cable and tube industries, ‘wire’ and ‘Tube’, which start on 13 April, are ideal for this purpose. The organiser, Messe Düsseldorf, expects more than 2,700 exhibitors from 65 countries to present their innovations on approximately 120,000m² of exhibition space, covering the entire industrial value chain.
‘wire 2026’ occupies halls 9 to 17 of the exhibition grounds. Wire, cable and wire and cable technologies are presented in halls 9 to 13 and 15. hall 16 focuses on fastening technology, springs and their end products, while hall 17 high-lights welded mesh machines. ‘Tube 2026’, which takes place at the same time, will be held in halls 1 to 7.0.
With the new ‘World of Cables’, ‘wire 2026’ is adding an extra highlight: for the first time, the end product cable will take the centre stage in the special area in hall 13. Another highlight: the new ‘wire & Cable Forum’ will also be presented for the first time in hall 13.
The new ‘wire & Cable Forum’
Under the motto ‘Come and Connect’, the trade fair brings together leading minds, thought leaders and decision-makers from the industry for an intensive exchange on the latest technologies and future prospects. Following the success of the ‘Tube Forum 2024’, ‘wire’ is thus sending another strong signal for knowledge transfer and networking. The series of lectures will be organised by the following associations: Netzwerkdraht – ACIMAF – IWCEA, VDKM, VÖDKM, IWCEA-France – IWMA and CRU.
The task of trade journals
Providing guidance is also a main task of trade journals. In this issue of WIRE, we report on exhibits that await trade fair visitors in Düsseldorf. WIRE magazine itself will be present at ‘wire 2026’ at the Netzwerkdraht joint stand in hall 9, booth C 13. Visit us at the end of your day at the trade fair; we look forward to talking to exhibitors and trade visitors.
We wish you an enjoyable read of our second WIRE print issue of the year!
