Oak Brook, Illinois/USA (SMI) – The Spring Manufacturers Institute (SMI) has announced that its 2021 “Metal Engineering Expo” will be held Sept. 28-30, 2021 at the South Point Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. The facility consists of a 24-story hotel tower, casino and 90,000sq.ft. convention center, located on a 60-acre site along Las Vegas Boulevard, just 10 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. “I am really looking forward to Las Vegas in 2021,” said SMI president Steve Kempf, who is the CEO of Brooklyn, New York-based Lee Spring Company. “This will mark the fourth staging of the Expo, after another successful event in 2019 in Pittsburgh. We will once again feature exhibits from leading suppliers to the spring and metalforming industry, and our popular educational symposia will return with another strong lineup of presenters over two days.” In conjunction with the 2021 Expo, the international ISO/TC 227 committee will be meeting from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1 at the South Point Resort.
