A specialist magazine that has accompanied our industry for 70 years without interruption deserves all our respect. WIRE is an important and loyal companion, promoting and supporting our industry throughout the years.

It encourages the transfer of knowledge and forges relationships between the spring industry, machinery manufacturers and suppliers, service providers, customer industries and research. In doing so, WIRE keeps the contact between players at home and abroad well and truly alive.
Throughout its lifetime, the magazine has succeeded in evolving with the international spring industry, making it an indispensable part of the spring family.
Over the past 70 years, this specialist magazine has tirelessly proven its worth, overcoming every economic crisis along the way. WIRE has embraced technical developments with open arms, also implementing its own changes. These include its online digital magazine – a timely development given the acceleration of digitalisation during the pandemic. The VDFI (German spring industry association) would like to take this opportunity to thank WIRE for the enduring and fruitful collaboration over the years. We would also like to wish publisher Meisenbach Verlag and the team behind WIRE all the best and much well-deserved luck in reading and responding to the signs of the times.
