New combined wire rod and BIC line
Guangdong Shaoguan Iron+Steel commissioned its brand new combined wire rod and BIC line including Kocks 3-roll technology.

The Chinese iron and steel producer Guangdong Shaoguan Iron and Steel Group Company Ltd. has successful commissioned its brand new combined wire rod and BIC line incorporating a “RSB 300++/4“ in 5.0 design of Friedrich Kocks GmbH+Co KG, Germany. The RSB 300++/4 operates as finishing unit for the production of BIC within a dimensional range from Ø 15.0mm up to Ø 50.0mm and supplies as pre-finisher all feeders for the wire rod line. Thanks to the remote control system, size changes can apply within a billet gap and stand changes can be done within max. five minutes due to the advanced stand quick change design.
