In addition to Consteel, the project introduces the “Consteerrer” technology. This innovative electro-magnetic stirring system, jointly developed with ABB, brings the advantage of lower operating costs, providing more reliable and safer operations, higher steel quality and more precise logistics.
Consteerrer enhances the Consteel Evolution process with ABB’s “ArcSave” non-contact electromagnetic stirring of the furnace’s liquid bath, and can be customized to match the needs of different EAF process steps.
