Interest in greener welding options

Commenting on the show, Steve Mepsted, managing director of PWM Ltd, said: “Visitor traffic did appear down compared with previous years but visitor quality was sound and it was good to have opportunities to meet existing and potential customers and suppliers face-to-face.
We registered a lot of interest from manufacturers looking for greener welding solutions, who were impressed by the performance of our energy-efficient pneumatic and electro-hydraulic cold welding machines. Contacts were generally positive about the industry despite the current economic situation and we secured a number of interesting orders.”
