Hamada Khalifa joins Cimteq

Cimteq is delighted to welcome Hamada Khalifa to the team as “Commercial Technical Lead”. Formerly Head of Projects at Nexans, Hamada has made the move from a valued customer to a respected colleague, bringing with him direct knowledge of Cimteq products from a customer perspective.

Speaking about his Cable Builder Enterprise implementation project at Nexans Hamada said: “The main reason for choosing CableBuilder Enterprise was to accelerate the response time to the client with high accuracy and move away from manual calculations to automated calculations. Cimteq supported the three-month implementation target we had set for the project and together we achieved this goal. The immediate change we saw was the move away from a five-day turnaround time from customer enquiry to quote, to a one-day turnaround. The advantages of Cable Builder Enterprise is total flexibility and having the ability to store everything in one place. We were able to eliminate all parallel files and calculations used outside the system.”

Hamada helped all Nexans plants across the world complete their Cable Builder Enterprise implementation projects, positioning him as the ideal person to promote the product, showcase what it can achieve and help customers at every stage of the implementation phase.

Hamada continued: “I supported my colleagues in the numerous Nexans plants across the world with their implementation of the software. My thorough understanding of the varying needs of many different teams and the opportunities offered by Cimteq products helped convince me that I wanted to make the move to Cimteq and transfer this knowledge to the global Cimteq customer base.”
