The webinar entitled: How to continuously improve cable designs and business processes with ‘Cable Builder’, attracted a record level of interest with over 200 individuals registered.
The webinar was delivered by Cimteq experts Hamada Khalifa, Commercial Technical Lead and Chris Huntly, Cable Builder Product Manager. Both, Hamada and Chris have previously worked for high profile customers of Cimteq’s and have extensive experience working with ‘Cable Builder’ in a live factory setting.
Hamada Khalifa, formerly of Nexans and now Commercial Technical Lead at Cimteq, said: “Our webinar was a great success and welcomed a record number of attendees. Having managed entire Cable Builder Enterprise implementation projects in busy manufacturing plants, Chris and I were able to use our vast knowledge and first-hand experiences to give attendees the most comprehensive guide to this unrivalled software.”
During the webinar, a demonstration was conducted, allowing attendees to see the Cable Builder system in use and witness the ease of generating designs and quotations.
Chris Huntly, formerly of Aberdare and now Cable Builder Product Manager at Cimteq, added: “This software has been designed by wire and cable experts specifically for the manufacturing industry. We offer a suite of products, including our unrivalled ‘Cable MES’ system, that help manufacturers maximise productivity and profitability whilst gaining the competitive edge thanks to faster, more accurate designs, quotations and operational processes.”
Cimteq released the latest in a series of white papers to accompany the webinar. Entitled Adopting Smart Factory Practices to Improve Cable Design Processes and Customer Quotation Generation, the white paper examined the benefits of going ‘smart’, saving money and time whilst improving efficiencies in the cable factory and provided an overview of the journey towards Industry 4.0.
