Acquisition of Impact Formulators Group
Global Polymer Solutions S.L. (“Delta Tecnic” or the “Group”), an independently managed investment subsidiary of Investindustrial Growth III SCSp (“Investindustrial”), has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of Impact Formulators Group S.r.l. (“IFG”), a leading Italian producer of additive and colour masterbatches.

Based near Milan, IFG was created through the combination of Ultrabatch S.r.l., Masterbatch S.r.l. and Eurocolor S.r.l. The Company specialises in the production of additive masterbatches aimed at enhancing the performance of polymers through specialised features (UV stabilisers, anti-fog, anti-blocking, slip, process aids, antistatic, or flame retardants, among others), and also offers colour masterbatches.
IFG brings functional additives to the Group, enhancing Delta Tecnic’s primarily colour-focused masterbatch offering, and allowing the Group to provide a comprehensive range of masterbatch solutions to its customers. Additionally, IFG can leverage Delta Tecnic’s strong presence in Spain and Mexico to expand its reach in the attractive Spanish and American agriculture markets.
The combination of IFG with Delta Tecnic will create a leading independent European masterbatch group with more than €100 million of combined revenue through a diversified and well-invested manufacturing footprint across 6 plants in three countries (Spain, Italy and Mexico) and a workforce of more than 270 FTEs.
