Next-generation rod breakdown line

Maschinenfabrik Niehoff will present the new next-generation rod breakdown (RBD) line type “MSM 88 – R 502.H” for copper and aluminum wires.

The line is characterised by a high performance combined with enormous savings in energy costs and CO2 emissions. Furthermore, there will be live demonstrations of a braiding machine type “BMV 16”, a new automatic rewinder for braiding bobbins type “SMB”, and an “SV 403 D” type double spooler of the cable storage and handling system “NPS” (Niehoff Package System) which enables production speeds of up to 2,400m/min.

The Niehoff after-sales service will be presenting its wide range of spare parts with the “Niehoff Original+” label, contributing to further increase the efficiency of Niehoff systems in the long term. Other service offers include the modernization of earlier Niehoff machines and machine relocations. Visitors to the Niehoff booth will also learn how to best benefit from the new digital service platform “myNiehoff”.

Niehoff pays great attention to building machinery that meets sustainability requirements and enable energy savings as well as material and cost-efficient production processes. Some examples shown at the wire 2024 trade fair will be a new rod breakdown line, which among others is characterised by a new annealing system and an increased production speed, as well as innovations in the area of multiwire drawing. Niehoff’s after-sales-service will be introducing its offer of spare parts with the „Niehoff Original+“ label which help further increase the efficiency of Niehoff systems over the long term. Other service offers include modernising older Niehoff machinery and machine relocations. The visitors of the Niehoff booth will also learn how they can benefit from the myNiehoff web app which helps users monitor machine and process data online.
