Turkish special steel producer invests in Kocks 3-roll technology
The Turkish special steel producer Cemtas Celik Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. has placed an order with Kocks for a Reducing+Sizing Block “RSB 370++/4” in the 5.0 design.

This strategic investment is part of a modernisation of the existing mill aimed at increasing product quality, operational reliability, and production flexibility in the company’s SBQ bar rolling operations. Commissioning is scheduled for 2026.
The “RSB 370++/4” will be integrated as a finishing block into the existing bar mill. With this addition, Cemtas will be able to produce straight bars with finished sizes from Ø 15.00mm to 100.00mm, achieving tight dimensional tolerances and excellent surface quality for demanding downstream applications. Despite the “RSB”, the scope of supply includes Kocks’ advanced remote control for automatic stand and guide adjustments as well as the “Bamicon” Octopus software and hardware, a workflow-oriented solution supporting the entire set-up process in the roll shop. The “RSB 370++/4” comes in the award-winning 5.0 design.
With this investment, Cemtas strengthens its capability to supply premium SBQ products to processing industries, including automotive, machinery, and engineering sectors, meeting the highest customer demands.
